What will she say next?

Posted by Picasa

Emily is 100% all personality! The things that come out of her mouth amaze me. For instance..

The girls and I were all shopping the other day at the mall. Emily was in a VERY goofy mood!

E- Hiiiii

Strange lady- Oh well Hi to you.

E- what ya doing?

SL- shopping for my daughter. What are you doing.

E- buying me a bra.. (..she's 5 and no we were not shopping for a bra)

Of coarse, Megan and Ashley couldn't contain their laughter and neither could I!

and then same shopping trip..

E- (talking to a passing stranger)- Hi beautiful..can I buy you a soda?

SL- What?

E- Laughing..that's what my friend Hannah says (as in Hannah Montana)

E to every mirror we passed- Hi beautiful..can I buy you a soda?

I guess she really has no problems talking to herself or others! I just hope that her and the mirror don't become to good of friends!

different trip

We were checking out and behind the counter were two cashiers. One young, one a little older.

E- Whats your name

C- Jennifer. Whats your name?

E- Emily. What's your grandmas name? (pointing to the other cashier)

C- Oh, that's not my grandma, she works here.

E- Oh, I thought she was an old grandma

YIKES!

and then just today I was picking her up at school for a Dr apt when the her Librarian stop me to tell me what Emily said to her!

L- I'm going to read to you this wonderful book, please wait until the end for question.

E- in the middle of the story...hand raised not making a peep

L-Yes Emily

E-Your beautiful.

L-Well Emily you are now my new favorite student.

She's really liking her new found word...beautiful.

Its a darn good thing that I think she is beautiful and I can hardly wait to hear what she'll come up with next.

Hey Mendy, I sit in front of Emily in primary and she makes me laugh every week. She always has an answer and they are usually right but if they aren't, they are interesting. She is a crack up. Loved all her little stories you wrote about.

Oh my word she is SO cute. I love sitting by her in Primary. It's funny that she's so outgoing and friendly and spunky but can also be so reverent in church. Now that's a pretty darn good quality!

Mendy-
Ok I seriously died laughing when I read the Emily Dialogue. We definitely need to get her and Maya together-they would be a riot. Sorry I have been MIA-I feel like a crazy person-still no excuses. When can we get together? Weekends work best for us-Saturdays or Sundays. Let me know-I love your blog-
Love Thea

She is hilarious! I love to read stuff like that. I've been thinking about you alot lately. I know it's weird because I almost never run into you anywhere including church. How does that happen? Or not happen in this case?? that last conversation we had (probably like 2 years ago or something) keeps popping into my head about baking... you did your kitchen... anyway I would call you but I'm not much of a phone person. Maybe I will run into you at the park soon since its getting real nice outside :)

Don't you wish that everything they said could somehow be recorded permanately? So many times I've wished I had been able to capture Cooper's comments and then reply them. It's their facial expressions, their eyes, the tone and flucuation of their voices, their body language - it's the whole package that makes the delivery so wonderful!
